1.After recycle the old cartridges,you should clean it well with cleaning fluid.
2.After cleaning the cartridge,you should dry it well
3.Then,refilling the ink to test it
4.Now,you should test it:firstly,you should observe if its appearance is scratched;secondly,you should observe if the printing is snatchy.
5.After testing it and make sure it good,then you can refill ink and install the support clip.
NOTICE
When you clean the cartridge,please don't touch the printhead
